Job Description
Pre-school Room Leader
An ideal opportunity for an experienced Nursery Nurse looking to step up to a new challenging role.
You will manage your own small team within the room and ensure all the Pre-school children are receiving high quality care and education.
You will liaise with other professionals such as Teachers and Health Workers to ensure you can provide the best care and support for the Pre-shcool children.
In this position you will be a point of contact for all the parents in the room and you will be able to assist them with any worries or concerns they have regarding their child\'s development.
A rewarding role with a fantastic and exciting age group.
Some of your responsibilities as a Room leader will include:
To ensure the children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment
To lead your team in order for them to plan, prepare and review the curriculum as a team reflective of the EYFS
To work in partnership with the parents
To follow and implement all the policies and procedures set out by the nursery
To lead the team in your room, providing day to day guidance for your staff where needed
You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:
Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
Have experience of working with children
