Job Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a highly experienced Workshop Controller to join a fantastic prestige brand. This is a very important position, pivotal to the success of the department, so requires an extremely self motivated and talented person.
You’ll be responsible for controlling and managing workshop efficiency in an extremely busy 17 bay workshop. You must be confident in your ability to make the best use of resources and people to deliver a high level of productivity as well as driving the technicians to deliver a first-time fix and quality service.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of delivering a courteous, professional and advisory service that meets with and exceeds customer expectations. Excellent communication skills, a smart appearance and a professional manner are essential requirements for the role along with a can-do attitude.
You need experience of estimating accurate labour costs for repairs and you will ensure technicians are provided with high quality, detailed reports on the condition of the vehicle to allow appropriate and timely up-selling.
