Job Description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen on a project basis through until the End of December 2010, for someone to join the Business, Planning & Performance department of this leading company.
You will have proven experience of:
Preparation of corporate MI and analysis in support of performance reporting and Sales MI deliverables.
Basic analytical skills
Ability to use MS Office programs, especially Excel and Word to a high level.
Key Accountabilities
· Undertake analysis as required in support of performance reporting, forecasting and planning and document as appropriate.
· Investigate reporting and planning issues (eg, related to BBS measures) through dialogue with managers and other across the business, clearly communicating the outcome of these investigations.
· Ensure that key spreadsheets used to support the Monthly Performance Report and other associated reports conform to the departmental standard.
· Produce the Monthly Performance Report and Sales MI deliverables, ensuring that deadlines are met, information is accurate, and processes accurately documented.
· Respond to queries and ad hoc requests for investigations related to information included in the Monthly Reporting Pack/Sales MI publications.
· Respond to feedback on the Monthly Performance Report/Sales MI publications to support continuous improvement.
· Support wider running and effectiveness of the BP&P Team.
· Contribute to overall goals of the Finance Division through active participation in team and departmental meetings, and support internal initiatives.
You will also need to be:
A reliable and organised team member & player.
Strong communication skills - written and verbal.
No holiday commitments until after completion of the contract
