Working in Finance Planning & Analysis, this is an opportunity for a Qualified Accountant to provide high quality analytical support to Voluntary Fundraising and other External Affairs departments (which include our Disability Now magazine, and the Policy and Campaigns and Communications and Marketing departments). The role has one direct report.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the financial analysis, reporting and planning process for the fundraising and External Affairs functions, which includes Scope\'s Disability Now magazine, the Policy and Campaigns and Communications and Marketing departments
  • To critically evaluate and support strategic projects and developments within these functions
  • The management and development of a Financial Analyst
  • To continually develop financial systems and analysis tools
  • To provide advice, guidance and training to budget holders on financial issues and systems
  • Ad Hoc analysis and reporting as required by the relevant departments

The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:

  • Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA)
  • Experienced in a commercial management accounting role
  • Advanced Excel skills with experience of developing financial models
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with non-finance individuals
  • A self starter who can develop strong working relationships to collaborate effectively with customers
